U.S.T.A. provides our members with the highest quality
services available. We are committed to creating an environment for members, coaches and volunteers that
is safe, nurturing, empowering, and that promotes growth and success.
Safety is always our primary concern, so the policies, procedures and training available to our coaches are
designed to facilitate effective monitoring and supervision in order to protect members from abuse and staff
and volunteers from false allegations of abuse.
The Code of Conduct outlines specific expectations of the U.S.T.A. coaches and volunteers as we strive
to accomplish our mission together.
All coaches are required to complete an online abuse awareness training to further their understanding of
how abuse happens in youth serving organizations; how to protect members from abuse; and how to protect
themselves from false allegations.
